Sometimes you just need to get away from it all and where better than back to nature with your own cozy cabin in the woods?
Whilst I have always been an urban kinda guy that has always personally enjoyed the hustle-and-bustle of city life and everything involved with the fast paced, always on the go lifestyle it offers, I am also extremley prone to daydreaming about getting away from it all and moving to some remote and beautiful location out in the remote country somewhere, far away from civilization, off the grid, and as close to nature (with all the creature comforts I have come to expect of course) as possible.
I know I’m not the only one that has such aspirations and so the idea of one day owning a cozy cabin in the woods somewhere is one I’m sure I share with many of you.
We don’t need a house to contain our aspirational man caves, we just need to build the man cave on its own!
With winter really starting to take her grip as we move towards the Christmas period, the coziness of a cabin in the woods, complete with a traditional rustic aesthetic, fireplace and large supplies of wooly jumpers takes on an even more romantic feel.
I shouldn’t be slaving away behind my desk in the city, I need to be cutting firewood, cooking various wild game stews and rounding up reindeer or something!
I am probably, all truth being told, a fair bit away from having the chance at owning my own dream luxury cabin in the woods but that doesn’t mean I can’t gain some inspiration to help towards my future plans of living the simple life in tune with nature and away from all the noise of modern society in my very own hobbit inspired, back to basics cabin.
I’ve put together a compilation of some of the most awesome and cozy looking cabins I could find from large luxury cabins to small miniature cozy cabins and I hope you enjoy looking through them and getting inspired (or just plain jealous like me) yourself. Enjoy!
